FirstSpirit + Siteimprove

Download the plugin

The Siteimprove CMS Connector bridges the gap between the First Spirit content management system (CMS) and the Siteimprove Intelligence Platform. Now you can scan your website for errors as soon as a page is published, allowing you to fix mistakes, optimize content, and manage your site more efficiently.

What does it do?

With Intentive's Siteimprove plug-in, all FirstSpirit customers can now use cloud-based all-in-one software to improve their own web presence.

Siteimprove helps website operators analyze and perfect their digital presence, and to identify and eliminate problems. While the cloud solution takes a comprehensive approach and looks at the site as a whole, the Intentive-developed Siteimprove plug-in for FirstSpirit focuses on the individual article that an editor has just created or revised in FirstSpirit CMS, before going live.

The plugin analyzes the article already in the preview status with regards to accessibility, SEO, quality standards and security, and generates with a detailed analysis various suggestions for improvement, which the editor can directly implement. The analysis results of the live version of the article are also available, so that after a revision, the results of the Siteimprove analysis can be compared to the previous version. Thus, a consistently high quality of content is guaranteed, and the site gets a little better every day.

The Siteimprove CMS Add-On provides insights into*:

  • Misspellings and broken links
  • Readability levels
  • Accessibility issues
  • High-priority policies
  • SEO: technical, content, UX, and mobile
  • Page visits and page views
  • Feedback rating and comments
  • Get insights into the impact of unpublishing a specific page.
  • URL Shortener data and its impact on your digital assets

Review impact before unpublishing

You can now use the plugin to check if unpublishing a page will have an impact on your site. For example, you'll be able to see if deleting a page will affect your SEO, or if users would lose access to important documents and links.
If the plugin identifies any potential issues, you'll be able to make informed changes if you decide to unpublish a page. Read more about our CMS plugin
